During the men's football World Cup in 2026, we used this global moment as an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our workforce and the sense of belonging shared across the Trust.
Celebrating our people
Through OUH World Cup Squad 2026, colleagues from across OUH - including our PFI colleagues - were invited to take part in short staff profiles shared on our social media channels.
These profiles focused on the people behind our services: their roles, what they enjoy about working at OUH, and the countries they feel connected to.
Staff didn't need to be interested in football to get involved - participation was open to everyone, whatever connection they wished to share.
In total, we covered 33 colleagues across 25 different countries.
Our people are at the heart of everything we do. By celebrating the variety of backgrounds and experiences across our workforce, we want to help create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and proud to be part of OUH.
This also offered a snapshot of the many roles and career paths that exist across the Trust.
